Brownsburg East Middle School

BEMS started the night grinding and drove the ball all the way down to Avon’s 5 yard line. A penalty and a few defensive plays and we turned the ball over on downs. Avon drove the field and Josiah White had an interception stopping that drive on our 10 yard line. Our offensive line came to life the next possession and drove the field again right before halftime. Down 14-0 at half your Bulldogs didn’t quit. Avon did score on their first drive and we stopped them on the conversion. Score was 20-0 Our offense started moving the ball again and our Defense said enough is enough and stopped Avon. Our Offense went out and moved the ball again but had another interception. Your Bulldogs took it right back and caused a fumble which Carter Bogie recovered and put our offense back on the field. We went back to work on offense. Driving the ball down the field. Josiah White had a couple long runs and AJ Maxie finished things off with a TD plunge. Levi Prickett hit pay-dirt for the 2 point conversion. 20-8 Though we outscored them in the second half we dug too big of a hole to recover from. It’ll be a quick chance to right the ship as Avon South heads our way next week. We need Bulldog Nation there to make some noise.
