On Tuesday, Brownsburg East Girls Golf traveled to Oak Tree to compete with Plainfield. It was another hot and muggy day. This time, mother nature got the upper hand as the match was shortened after each girl played 6 holes after a shotgun start. Using the four common holes that were played, the Dogs beat the Fighting Quakers by a score of 90-93, extending their season record to 4-0. Based on the 6 holes each girl played, a final 9-hole score was projected to be 204-221. Laila Leaman was Match Medalist with a 16 (1 over par). She was on pace to shoot a 39 for nine holes. Next up for the ladies is a match on Thursday versus County Newcomer Danville.
