Brownsburg East Middle School

The East golfers began their season at the well-manicured Brickyard Crossing on Wednesday to compete in a 3-way match. Making good adjustments from the high rough and very fast greens, the Lady Dogs won with a 6-hole score of 135, defeating Speedway (162) and Paul Hadley (178). Newcomer Kylie Sambyal earned Match Medalist as she scrambled her way to a 30, including a birdie on the tough Par 5 2nd and pars on the final two holes. Also scoring for East were Laila Leaman (34), Ashlyn Martin (35), Emery Mygrant (36), and Ava Wilson (41). On Monday, the ladies will play at West Chase in the East vs. West match.
