Brownsburg East Middle School

Your Bulldogs started the game on fire on both sides of the ball Thursday night. The offense started it off sustaining a long drive that was capped off by a TD throw from Braydon Dietz to Harlan Millbern who had several good catches throughout the night. Our Defense hit the field and push Decatur Central back and David Olatunji tipped a pass while rushing the QB and Carter Bogie came up with a big time interception. We failed to punch it in the end zone and on the next possession DC tied the game 6-6 with a long breakaway run. We only had a little time left on the clock but our offense tried to move the ball in scoring position. Drake Jones had a great catch on a ball thrown from Dietz that led us to halftime. DC had the ball the entire 3rd quarter and capped off their drive with a TD. Zac Heidenreich had an interception stopping DC’s 2 point conversion. We finally got the ball back in the 4th quarter but our offense stalled and we had to punt it away. We couldn’t get DC off the field and they bled the clock out ending the game in their favor 12-6. We played a 5th & 6th quarter where some of your Bulldogs put some highlights on the field. JJ White put his speed to good use and scampered for a long QB run for a TD. Jay Hampleton had some good runs picking up yardage for your Bulldogs. Ian Romo had a Tackle for loss. Grayson Lee had a fumble recovery in the endzone for a touch back. We play Brownsburg West Middle School next week at Brownsburg High School and we need your support to beat West.
