Brownsburg East Middle School

Brownsburg East closed out their season with a dominant 7-0 shutout win over crosstown rival Brownsburg West, putting an exclamation point on an incredible season. The pitching was lights-out. Reid Pfledderer got the start and set the tone with 4 innings of work, striking out 2 and allowing just one hit. Bryon Young took the ball the rest of the way, tossing 3 shutout innings with 2 strikeouts and also giving up only one hit. The duo combined to completely shut down West’s offense. At the plate, the Bulldogs were firing on all cylinders. Brayden Dietz, James Caulfield, Bryon Young, and Harlan Millbern each racked up 2 hits, leading the charge. Reid Pfledderer, Nolan Ziegler, Parker Mattingly, and Davis Mitchell also added key hits to keep the pressure on. A perfect ending to a season full of grit, growth, and greatness.
