Brownsburg East Middle School

Brownsburg East came up just short in a hard-fought 7-6 loss to Westfield, despite a strong performance on both the mound and at the plate. Bryon Young was sharp on the hill, tossing 5 solid innings with 5 strikeouts while allowing only 2 runs. His performance kept the Bulldogs in it from start to finish. Offensively, Jordan Lynch led the way with 2 hits. The Bulldogs spread the production across the lineup with hits from Bryon Young, Harlan Millbern, James Caulfield, Nolan Ziegler, Reid Pfledderer, and Jayden Smith. Though the Bulldogs couldn't quite pull out the win, they showed plenty of fight and will look to bounce back in their next game on May 6th at Creekside, first pitch at 5:30 PM.
