Brownsburg East Middle School

Playing in the remnants of Hurricane Helene, the Lady Dogs traveled to Pebble Brook Golf Club for the Conference Championship. The girls showed up ready to play and posted a score of 214; the best score for an East Girls Team at Conference in several years. Laila Leaman played great for East, carding a 47 which was good for 5th Place Overall in the 40-player field. Kate Cornwell shot 50, good for 9th Place Overall. Others playing for East were Rachel Rhoades (54), Emery Mygrant (63), and Ashlyn Martin (70). Team Scores were as follows: 184 - Zionsville 187 - Westfield 214 - Brownsburg East 222 - Brownsburg West 228 - Franklin Central 229 - Zionsville West 248 - Avon South 266 - Avon North Coach Johns would like to thank the Girls, as well as their Parents and Grandparents, for a fantastic season. The ladies finished with an impressive overall record of 16-6. All of these ladies are to be commended on how well they represented themselves, their families, and East Middle School. Go Dogs!
