BEMS 8th Grade Football got the dub last night. Defense & Special Teams came to play. On the first series the D put their foot down forcing a 4th and long when Micah Billups created the Big Time Play and took an interception to the house. Pick 6 baby!!! Brody Woodruff added the two point conversion on a scamper around the right side of the field. There was not much offense to brag about tonight through 4 quarters but we ended our turnover tendency and protected the ball all night. The defense however were ball hawks. Levi Armstrong recovered a fumble. Gaven Allen forced a fumble and it was recovered by Micah Billups. Cade Smith had a dominant sack on the last drive. Nico Clark climbed the ladder defending the final chance Franklin had to knock down a 4th down Hail Mary sealing the win. Bulldogs win 8-0 We had extended action after the game with a 5th & 6th quarter where the world was introduced to the electrifying, relentless Abdulmaleek Alabi who scored his first TD. Our Defense held strong anchored by Mason Duncan and NaShawn Jones. Go Dogs!
