Brownsburg East Middle School

The East Girls hosted Westfield in a 7-hole (par 28) match on Monday. For the second straight year, the Dogs beat the Shamrocks, this time by a score of 166-175. Kate Cornwell was Co-Medalist with her Westfield playing partner, posting a 37 in a round where she chipped in for birdie on her first hole. Laila Leaman played another nice round, carding a 39. Ashlyn Martin continues to find her game, coming in with a 44. Emery Mygrant and Rachel Rhoades each shot a 46. Ava Dunbar played well in her second varsity match, shooting a 54. This was the team’s fourth win in as many matches. The girls will look to continue their momentum as they play at Oak Tree this Thursday in the County Championship.
