Brownsburg East Middle School

The 8th grade Brownsburg East Bulldogs won 16-14 against Center Grove North. This was the most challenging game of the season; everything that could go wrong did go wrong, but the Bulldogs persevered and overcame all the obstacles. Alex Young scored a touchdown in the first half. It was 8-6 after the first half. The second half was full of chaos! The Bulldogs had two touchdowns called back for penalties, lost an onside kick and a fumble in the redzone but that didn't keep the Bulldogs down. We were down 14-8 with CG one yard away from scoring but Jason Sherrell made a huge TFL on 4th down to stop them and get the offense the ball back. On 4th down on our own one yard line Caiden Mason scrambled for a 99 yard touchdown and ran in the 2 point conversion to take the lead 16-14 with one minute remaining. The defense held off the CG offense and the Bulldogs won 16-14, completing an unbelievable undefeated season!
