Brownsburg East Middle School

On Saturday, the Lady Dogs traveled “home” to Oak Tree Golf Course for the Conference Championship. The girls played extremely well and fell short of winning by just 5 strokes. Their team score of 179 was the best East has played in a Conference Championship in at least a decade. Three East Golfers (Kylie, Ashlyn, & Ava) earned All-Conference Honors by placing in the Top 10 in the 40-player field. Scoring for the Dogs was as follows: 42 - Kylie Sambyal (4th Place) 43 - Ashlyn Martin (5th) 46 - Ava Wilson (9th) 48 - Emery Mygrant (11th) 61 - Addalyn Elger (T-24th) Team Scores were: 174 - Brownsburg West 176 - Zionsville 179 - Brownsburg East 236 - Zionsville West 238 - Avon West 239 - Franklin Central 242 - Avon North 242 - Avon South Coach Johns would like to thank the Girls, as well as their Parents and Grandparents, for a wonderful season. The ladies finished with an overall record of 20-9, and it was the best scoring East Golf Team in a long time. The entire team is to be commended on how well they represented themselves, their families, and East Middle School. Go Dogs!
