On Saturday, the East Lady Golfers had the thrilling opportunity to play in the 18-hole Zionsville Invitational at Zionsville Golf Course. The competition was the best you will see in the State, and the ladies handled the challenge with grace and class. It was some of the best golf the team has played all season. Ashlyn Martin led the way with a round of 84, which included 3 birdies! She finished on the All-Tournament Team, coming in at 8th place in the 40-player field. Also Scoring for East was as follows: Kylie Sambyal (89); Emery Mygrant (93); Ava Wilson (101); and Addalyn Elger (109). Team Scoring was: 312 - Westfield 337 - Noblesville West 346 - Zionsville 367 - Brownsburg East 377 - Noblesville East 389 - Mt. Vernon 445 - Western Boone 452 - Zionsville West Up next for East, the girls play their final head-to-head match when they return to Zionsville GC to face Zionsville West next Tuesday.
