It was a great evening for football. Thanks to everyone who came out to cheer your 7th grade Bulldogs on to victory. The final score was 20-0. Haden Harvey set our offense up with great field position after a good kickoff return. Elliott Hollingsworth scored on our first offense play taking a 6-0 lead. Failed PAT. Our defense was all business / all night! After a few empty possessions by both teams, Mason Spector intercepted a Zionsville pass for a touchback ending a Zionsville drive. Mason Spector had the longest play of the game as he reversed the field and out ran the entire defense for our second score. Failed PAT Our defense held Zionsville the next drive which gave us some precious seconds remaining on the clock for our offense to go back to work. Imre Dispennett connected with Mason Spector on two passes in a row and the second one was a TD. Imre was not done yet as he threw Trenton Kivett a pass and Trenton darted into the Endzone for a 2pt conversion. That was it before halftime and for the scoring for the night. The defense kept the pressure cranked up all night and the offense had splashes here and there. We have a JV game away on Monday at Center Grove Central. That is followed by a home game on Thursday vs Franklin Central. Come cheer us on! Go Dogs!
