Brownsburg East Middle School

Brownsburg East 8th Baseball battled hard against Avon, jumping out to an early lead before falling 8-7 in 8 innings. Byron Young led the Bulldogs offense, going 2 for 3 with 1 run scored and 1 RBI. Harlan Millbern reached base three times, finishing 1 for 2 with 2 walks, 1 run, and 1 RBI. On the mound, Reid Pledderer got the start and was sharp early, throwing 2 no-hit innings with 0 runs allowed and 1 strikeout. Byron Young added a strong relief appearance, pitching 3 innings while allowing just 1 hit and no runs with 3 strikeouts.
