Brownsburg East Middle School

Despite cold and windy conditions at the Hendricks County Golf Championship, the short Oak Tree course setup made for some remarkably low scores. It was an All Brownsburg 1-2 punch as West was crowned Team Champion, with East as Runner-up. Kyler Bell was named Individual Champion Golfer with a fantastic 2-under par round, tying a Danville competitor but winning on a scorecard playoff with a par on the tough 7th hole. Korbin Brown (2-over par) also earned a podium spot with a 7th place finish in the 40 player field. Individual scoring for East was as follows: 34 - Kyler Bell - Champion Golfer 38 - Korbin Brown - 7th 42 - Eli Rogers - 19th 43 - Logan Hall - 23rd 44 - Cohen Heckman - 25th Team Scoring was as follows: 152 - Brownsburg West 157 - Brownsburg East 162 - Plainfield 165 - Tri-West 168 - Danville 170 - Avon West 209 - Avon South 211 - Avon North On Monday, the East vs. West contest will be played at West Chase as the final match of the season.
