Girls tennis won the first round in the county tournament, beating Avon South 5-0. Winners were Kendall Cox, Nadia Turnipseed, Katie Carlos, Srinisha Bathe, Elise Crane, Emma Walter, and Kayleigh Fairchild. JV tennis also beat Avon South with winners Elise’cia Scales, Jasmine Babatope, Nora Wymore, Reese Michael, Fabiana Nava-Leal, Grace Tolliver, Zoey Danz, Juliana Delp, Zoe Oppy, and Adalynne Smith. Team wins go to Isabel Avila-Vaca, Jordyn Fye, Meera Patel, and Adaoma Anokwute who played tough against varsity players.
