Brownsburg East 8th Falls to Cascade 3–2 Brownsburg East dropped a tough one at home to Cascade, 3–2, after an early deficit proved just enough to hold off a late Bulldogs push. Cascade struck quickly, scoring all three of their runs in the top of the first inning. From there, Brownsburg East pitching settled in and kept the game within reach. James Caufield provided strong relief, tossing three innings while allowing just one hit and no runs. Davis Mitchell followed with two solid innings of his own, also giving up only one hit and no runs. The Bulldogs had opportunities to rally but couldn’t capitalize, leaving eight runners on base over the final four innings. The biggest chance came in the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded, but Cascade was able to escape and secure the win. Offensively, Parker Mattingly led the way, going 2-for-3 with an RBI. Jayden Smith also drove in a run for the Bulldogs. Despite the loss, Brownsburg East showed resilience after the first inning and continued to compete throughout.
