Brownsburg East Middle School

East got their second dub of the season against Zionsville West 13-5- which means another round of slushies! Maggie Draine and Brooklyn Spinks also hit the first HOMERUNS of the season! Absolutely nuked em’ East was tied and then took the lead in the top of the third. When Libby Baldwin singled, scoring one run, to give East the edge, 4-3. In the top of the fourth inning Maggie Draine homered to left field, and Baldwin singled down the left field line, each scoring one run. Kynzley Wilson doubled, scoring one run, Spinks homered to left field, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run and they were on a roll! Spinks and Wilson pitched with a combined 8 strikeouts on the night. East accumulated 19 hits in the game. Kylee Gordon, Kynzley Wilson, Brooklyn Spinks, and Maggie Draine each collected three hits for East. Baldwin also collected two hits!
