8th Grade softball got their first win of the season beating Zionsville Middle 17-7! Road win = Slushies! Maggie Draine earned the win. She allowed one hit and five runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out one and walking two. Molly Swenson pitched three innings in relief for East. She allowed four hits and two runs (one earned) while, striking out three and walking none. Spinks and LaVelle each collected two hits for East. Spinks, Draine, and LaVelle each drove in three runs for East. Libby Baldwin and Brooklyn Spinks pulled the first double play of the season! East plays Zionsville West on Thursday at Zionsville.
