BBE 8th Grade Girls Basketball Claims Championship, Finishes Undefeated at 20-0 The BBE Girls Basketball team capped off a remarkable season by winning the championship and finishing undefeated at 20-0, showcasing determination, teamwork, and composure when it mattered most. In the semifinal matchup against Zionsville, BBE delivered a balanced scoring effort and win 38-21 to punch their ticket to the title game. Quinn Sowder led the way with 13 points, while Kara Padgett added 11. Brooklyn Spinks contributed 9 points, and Maggie Draine chipped in 5 to help secure the victory and advance to the championship. In the final against Franklin Central, BBE rose to the occasion once again with a 43-36 victory. Kara Padgett delivered a standout performance with 19 points, while Quinn Sowder added 16 in a dominant offensive showing. Brooklyn Spinks contributed 5 points, and Sannaea Cleveland added 1 point to round out the scoring effort as BBE claimed the championship title and cut down the nets. With the win, BBE completed a perfect 20-0 season — a testament to their hard work, resilience, and commitment throughout the year.
