The 7th grade Bulldogs played a tough Westfield team last night, arguably one of the best teams we will see all season. Despite falling 34 - 53, the final box score does not tell the story of the game. The Bulldogs played their best game of the season handling the press, high level ball pressure, and navigating a tough man-to-man defense with efficiency. The Dogs were led in scoring by two familiar faces: Davis Roethe and Aaron Alstatt with 9 points each. The dogs also did a great job about getting to the free throw line and converting at about a 70% rate. The 7th grade Bulldogs have two regular season games next week before starting Conference Tournament play at Center Grove (North) on Tuesday and home against Zionsville Middle on Thursday. Go Dogs!
